AADPRT members participated in APA's Advocacy Day (Federal Fly-In) on October 7, 2025, meeting with lawmakers and their staff to advocate for mental health. Key topics included access to care, adding residency slots, advocating for trainees with visas to work in the U.S. after training, deferring interest on student loans during residency, as well as funding for mental health and SAMHSA. See photos and quotes
