Who We Are
Born in 1970, the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT) is an association of psychiatry physicians and administrators who work to maximize the potential of psychiatry residents and fellows.
We welcome members to take advantage of our networking, educational offerings, and especially our annual meeting where the best and brightest gather to learn from one another and advance the field of psychiatry.
Mission, History & Policies
Born in 1970, the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT) works to further the education and professional development of psychiatry educators and program coordinators.
Executive Council members oversee AADPRT’s volunteer committees, caucuses, and task forces organized by areas integral to the organization's operation and development.
Committees, Caucuses, Task Forces, Representatives
AADPRT is governed by volunteers who sit on its committees, caucuses, and task forces organized around areas integral to the organization's operation and development. All of these are overseen by the Executive Council led by the president.
There are many ways to become more involved in AADPRT. The key is to look for opportunities that speak to your passion and volunteer. Your involvement enriches us all and together we can accomplish more.
