DESCRIPTION
Faculty psychiatrist for the
Broadlawns-UnityPoint Psychiatry Residency.
Come join the eleven psychiatrists from three institutions who are the
core faculty of a now 5 year old psychiatry residency program. The psychiatrist will deliver a
comprehensive, collaborative
approach to care and teach
psychiatry residents and medical students.

1. Serve as a
core faculty member for the Broadlawns-UnityPoint Psychiatry Residency Program
with duties including direct clinical supervision of psychiatry residents as
well as didactic teaching and shared responsibility for the acute care
curriculum of the residency program.
2.
Management of inpatients
on the inpatient psychiatry service, Inpatient
consultation on non-psychiatry units,
ED consultation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Board
certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and
Neurology. If not board certified, eligible to be board certified with a
requirement of becoming board certified within two years of the date of
hire.
2.
Licensed to practice
medicine in the state of Iowa.
