Assistant or Associate Professor/Clinical Full-Time
The Department of Psychiatry in the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine is recruiting child and adolescent psychiatrists for several new innovative programs in our Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Candidates must be board?certified or board?eligible academic in general and child/adolescent psychiatry to fill these full?time Assistant or Associate Professor positions on the non?tenure track. The faculty will be responsible for individual clinical duties and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students at a variety of clinical sites. A major portion of the duties will involve telepsychiatry to local schools and telepsychiatry consultation to primary care providers. Other partners included the Center for Health Care Services and Clarity Child Guidance Center. Applicants must hold a valid Texas medical license. In addition, candidates must be eligible for clinical privileges with the University Health System and the Center for Health Care Services under the appropriate staff category and must agree to abide by those privileges as outlined by the current bylaws of the institution.
