Mood Disorders Faculty

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida is recruiting for faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level for our Mood Disorders Program.

The positions will be a core part of the growing clinical, educational, and translational research program in the Department of Psychiatry at UF. These positions are in a major medical center in Gainesville Florida, at a Top 10 public university in a pleasant, family-friendly community with a modest cost of living and high quality of life.

The adult outpatient and inpatient services provided by the Department of Psychiatry, includes comprehensive assessment, medication management, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), deep brain stimulation (DBS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), a specialized geriatric psychiatry inpatient unit, and an inpatient unit for medically and psychiatrically complex patients, providing an ideal setting for clinical treatment of mood disorders.

Required Qualifications
  • MD, DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible psychiatrists
  • A collaborative approach to clinical care
  • Clinical experience with depression or other mood disorders in adults
  • Teaching and mentoring
