Residency Director Northeastern WI Program

Application Deadline: November 29, 2019

Program Director

Northeastern Wisconsin Psychiatry Residency

Medical College of Wisconsin,

Green Bay, WI

The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine is actively recruiting for a new Program Director for its Northeastern Wisconsin Psychiatry Residency in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  The program is a fully ACGME accredited residency dedicated to producing psychiatrists interested in practicing in rural Wisconsin and has successfully recruited its third class of residents.  For more information about the program please see: https://www.mcw.edu/departments/psychiatry-and-behavioral-medicine/education/residency-programs/northeastern-wisconsin-residency-program

Although focused on rural practice, our primary training sites are not strictly rural areas themselves. Green Bay and the Fox Cities of Northeastern Wisconsin are small to medium sized cities with access to many “big city” experiences (including NFL football, concerts, theater and more) without the downsides of high costs-of-living and traffic. These areas also provide almost immediate access to the great outdoors. Biking, hunting, fishing, camping, boating and hiking will be just minutes, if not steps (depending on where you decide to live) from your home. These areas are affordable, safe, family friendly, and fun.  Green Bay is 115 miles north of Milwaukee, WI.

Interested candidates should have at least three years of clinical and academic experience, including some educational administrative responsibilities.  Please direct inquiries to Carlyle Chan, MD at cchan@mcw.eduor 414-955-7250
