Submission Deadline: October 29, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. CT

Submit your abstracts for workshops and posters for the 2020 American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training (AADPRT) Annual Meeting at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX March 4-7, 2020. This year's meeting theme is "Reclaim Meaning through Teaching." We look forward to reviewing your submissions that will help us renew and expand our meaning as educators and administrators of residency and fellowship training.

All abstract submissions must be made electronically through AADPRT’s online abstract submission system by an AADPRT member (dues must be up to date). We allow abstract submissions for two categories: workshops and posters.

  • Workshops: These sessions are interactive, experiential presentations and program descriptions that are designed to improve knowledge and skills among those working to enhance residency and fellowship training in psychiatry. All workshops are 90 minutes long and should have an emphasis on interactive learning with minimal didactic lecturing. The last 10-15 minutes should be reserved for questions and discussion, and the final 5 minutes protected for members to complete the evaluation form in the Whova app.. Handouts are encouraged.
  • Posters: Presentation of original research or innovations will allow for discussion between authors and interested parties during the dedicated poster sessions on Friday. Handouts are encouraged. Presenters are responsible for producing their own poster. If selected, a PDF file of posters must be submitted to the Program Committee by January 9, 2020 to also be considered for the annual poster competition.
